I'm a newbie to your channel and at 67 years old, I am also new at baking! lol I feel a little goofy asking, but your sticks of butter look larger than the ones I get in the grocery store. Mine are 1/2 cup each stick. Are yours the same or more? Maybe the tv makes it look larger, I don't know!?!

June 2024 I am fairly new to your channel and I watch the pound cake recipes. Dude #1 is an expert cake tester and taster! He is able to distinguish textures, flavors, moistness, etc. Until you guys explained it, I was wondering if the cake was done or should it have baked longer! You have so many delicious pound cake recipes, i don't know where to start. Maybe I will do like Natalie and start with your Beginners Cake! I have to buy a few things, mainly a tube pan and the Creme Bouquet and I should be ready to go!

How long does it pre heat in the oven, and do you better it before or after?

It makes me mad when parents allow small children to run up to a dog and try to pet it. THEN the parent will ask 'does it bite?' YES. Parents need to assume that every dog will bite and not allow their kids to do this. Even small purse dogs will bite if they don't feel comfortable. My dog is not considered a 'viscious' breed but ... she is a hunting dog and will go into full hunt down mode if she sees a bird or small animal. Yes she looks pretty with her gray fur and amber eyes ... but she is not a plaything for your small child. I am so sorry this happened to you. it would make me fearful too.

I have a hamburger press so I don’t have to touch the ground beef. It also makes it easier to stuff your burgers with mushrooms, onions or whatever you like.

A layer of banana pudding between each layer pus a little more deco dense in flavor. Make sure to do a piping well before adding pudding.
